By designing objects to be long-lasting we contribute to the shift towards a sustainable society. A material associated with waste is Cardboard. Through this project, I aim to expand its lifespan.

Cardboard is made to be quickly discarded, and its excess is universal, but with the simple shape I designed, you can build stable structures, of varying sizes, giving it a new life.

Through two small slits in each piece, you can attach one to the other, and by adding more and more you can build bigger things.

There are two ways this could be implemented; Either it’s just a simple instruction online, giving the dimensions and a few suggestions as to what you can build. Or a grid is printed on every cardboard box, where you only have to cut out the shapes by following the lines.
